Walnut Creek Studio is a lifestyle property situated on 10 acres west of Christchurch. It is very private as located down a back section reached via a private lane. The studio (built in 2014) is self contained and we lived in it for 9 months while our house was being built. It felt very homely and included everything we needed. It is warm, well insulated and has double glazed windows. In addition, there is a heat pump, Sky TV (including movies and sports channels) and Chromecast for streaming.
We look forward to extending some kiwi hospitality to ensure you have a great stay at Walnut Creek Studio. Some of our interests include running, tramping, mountain biking, native forest regeneration and gardening.
Some things to do in the area are: Orana Wildlife Park McLeans Island Forest Park – Walking, running, mountain biking. International Antartic Centre Yaldhurst Muesum of Transport and Science Ruapuna Speedway Riccarton Rotary Sunday Market Selwyn Aquatic Centre Dress Smart Outlet Shopping Hornby Mall Delta Force Paintball Trent’s Estate Winery Langdales Winery Watford Grange Lama Park Christchurch Helicopters Cookie Time Factory Shop Airforce Muesum Canterbury Astronomical Society The Willows walking/mountain biking track and separate dog park. This is just a small selection of the many things you can do in the West Melton / Selwyn area.
