A New Zealander currently living in Melbourne. My partner and I have been together for over 22 years. In 2013 my partners work had us depart Auckland for Singapore. Here we enjoyed experiencing everything this beautiful city has to offer including the opportunity to travel to a number of its neighbouring countries. 2017 saw us move to Melbourne, Australia. Prior to departing New Zealand, we lived and worked in Auckland which allowed us to spend time on Waiheke Island. Going to the Bach (holiday home) for weekends and holidays was a regular event. Whether this was at my families Bach or those of friends and families the formula was always the same. Kick back, relax while enjoying a simpler life. I knew after one such visit to Onetangi beach, Waiheke Island, that this is where I would one day continue experiencing the good life at my very own humble Kiwi Bach. Many years later, me and my partner, who shares my love for Waiheke, saw and fell in love with Whisper Cottage.
