Just a one-minute walk from boutique shops, cafés, restaurants, and the passenger ferry, Wisteria Villa is also only a 10-minute stroll to Long Beach — one of New Zealand’s most loved swimming beaches. This spacious three-bedroom, two-bathroom home combines historic character with relaxed comfort, featuring soaring ceilings, native kauri floors, and generous living spaces throughout. The large kitchen and dining area make it perfect for families or groups wanting to gather and unwind. Surrounded by birdsong, fruit trees, and lush tropical gardens, the villa sits beneath magnificent century-old rimu, kauri, and tōtara trees, creating a peaceful and private setting. The secluded backyard offers covered alfresco dining, a barbecue, and a spa pool — the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the Bay of Islands.

We love our home and creating a beautiful space for others to appreciate. We moved to Russell from Golden Bay June 2023 where we still own and remotely operate our candle and home fragrance business, Living Light Candles. We both love creating a beautiful home environment. David is an avid gardener and I am the domestic goddess so to speak. Our other favourite pastimes are gardening, cooking, pickleball, walking our sweet dog Lily on Long Beach or Tapeka and taking our boat out overnight to enjoy one of the beautiful inlets amongst the Bay of Islands.

We are only one block from historic Russell township with all the cafes and restaurants, plus straight up from the wharf. We just love the village vibe of Russell (only a 2 minute walk) and being able to walk everywhere, including a lovely stroll to Long Beach or Tapeka.
