A Spanish style country home on a secluded estate at the end of a road above Santa Catalina. The cement house was constructed with a lot of love and forethougt including 50 thousand lbs. of protected hardwoods salvaged from Lake Gatun. Bordering a small creek here is a hidden paradise with a jungle canopy, small waterfalls, pools and mature hardwood trees along with amazing views of the ocean and the surrounding forest. This is a real reforestation project and we are dedicated to reforesting endangered hardwoods and creating an organic food forest on the land for people and wildlife.
I'm a Colorado native living here in Panama with my two dogs and two horses. I came here for the surfing and diving but most of my time now is spent with my animals and working on my land.
The only visible neighbors are trees, squirrels, iguanas and birds. Occasionally coyotes, monkeys, javelina, deer and other native animals are around. The house is at the end of the road above Santa Catalina with a handful of local families along the road coming up. Please drive slowly. Renting a car is the best way to get around Panama and for renting here above town. It's a nice walk to town as well less than a mile away.
