If you want to visit Azores probably is because you want to experience a new relationship with Nature. Why not extend this experience to your accommodation in the Azores? With this idea in mind, we have prepared a fantastic ecological accommodation with special emphasis on natural materials (iron, stone, wood, bamboo) without neglecting the maximum comfort to make your stay unforgettable.

My name is André Soares, I am a nurse and I live in Lisbon. I really enjoy meeting new cultures and places. It is a great pleasure for me to receive guests visiting the Azores in search of the paradise where I grew up. Because of my absence I can not give you direct assistance. Our friend Aldina Sousa will welcome you on your arrival. During the check in, if you wish, Aldina can give you all the indications on how to make the most of your time and to know all the most important points of the island of São Miguel. During your stay Aldina will always be accessible for any request.

The Azor Eco Lodge is located on the first floor of a villa (my parents live on the second floor). All areas seen in the photos are private and for your exclusive use during your stay. The location of the accommodation is in rural area, between some other villas, fields and pastures. The way from the airport into Azor Eco Lodge is maybe the most beautiful road in Azores (see the pictures on the gallery). If you are looking for accommodation near restaurants, cafes, tourist attractions and all the fuss maybe this accommodation is not what you are looking for. If what you want is direct contact with nature (that's why you choose to visit the Azores, right?) you believe in sustainable and ecological tourism without losing comfort so the Azor Eco Lodge is perfect for you. Keep in mind that if you want to explore the island you will need to rent a car (and find a place to park it!)so staying in city center is not essential.
