This apartment's location is very special, as it is literally in Porto's historical downtown - right in front of the City Hall! It is within walking distance to many of the landmarks you will not want to miss while in town and around the corner you will also find amazing places to try our typical dishes (such as the awesome "francesinha"!), to grab a drink or to go out dancing. The best part? You can be safely back home after walking just a few minutes! The apartment is located in a recently renovated historical building from the 19th century, very close the city's main highlights, such as Torre dos Clérigos (probably Porto's most iconic landmark), Avenida dos Aliados (the city's main avenue), Santa Catarina street (should you want to indulge in a shopping spree), São Bento train station (with its beautiful hand painted tiled murals), the legendary Majestique coffee house, the world-famous Lello bookshop, Galerias Paris (Porto's night life hotspot) and much more! Within the apartment's neighbourhood you will also find many useful stores and services such as restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, a self-service laundry, subway, bus or train stations, etc.
