This holiday apartments are located in a privileged area of the Arco da Calheta, known for its pleasant climate and mild temperatures throughout the year. O Meu Sorriso holiday apartments are located on the southwest coast of Madeira, and only 25 minutes’ drive from Funchal city center, 45 minutes from the Airport. And about 5 minutes from the golden sandy beach of Calheta. It is the ideal Villa for your holidays, either for its magnificent views of the sea or for the tranquility that this place offers you for your romantic or family stay. Languages spoken: English, Spanish, Portuguese

Neighborhood info

Madeira is a paradise for those who enjoy walking and hiking, and Arco da Calheta is ideally situated, having easy access to the road network and most places on the island. Within 15 minutes DRIVE are the beaches at Ponta do Sol and Ribeira Brava, the esplanades at the surfing paradises of Jardim do Mar and Paul do Mar, the laurisilva forest of Madeira and the many walks in Paul da Serra (1500 meters). An easy 30-minute drive brings you to the capital, Funchal. A few minutes by car will take you to the resort town of Calheta, which, with its man-made golden beaches, is popular with tourists and locals alike. There is a beautiful marina and a good choice of bars and restaurants. There are a handful of boutique shops and a good supermarket. There are many walks around Calheta and easy access to the plateau of Paul da Serra, with its many levada walks, makes this villa perfectly located for walking in Madeira and for enjoying a lovely holiday surrounded by the beautiful Madeira countryside.
