The Antiga Fábrica da Manteiga is located in Arco da Calheta, in a quiet and sunny area, and comprises two independent units within the same building, ideal for those seeking comfort combined with an atmosphere rich in history and character. The Casa Fábrica da Manteiga preserves original features from the former artisanal production, visible in the ground-floor living room, offering a unique experience. It features a cosy living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. On the first floor there are two bedrooms: one with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom (without a shower), and another with two single beds. Outside, there is a terrace and an upper garden, equipped with a dining table, sun loungers and an outdoor shower. It has a maximum capacity of 4 people. Casa Belo Jardim is a self-contained studio comprising four single beds, a bathroom with shower and a kitchenette. It is a practical and functional option, ideal for families or small groups who value their independence during their stay. This unit has access to the lower garden and has a recommended capacity of up to 3 people. To ensure a peaceful experience for all guests, the outdoor spaces are divided between the two units: Casa Belo Jardim uses the lower garden, whilst Casa Fábrica da Manteiga has the terrace and the upper garden. In total, the property can accommodate up to 7 people, making it an excellent choice for families or groups who wish to share the same space whilst still enjoying some privacy.

AREA Located in Arco da Calheta, a quiet area highly appreciated for its mild climate throughout the year, Antiga Fábrica da Manteiga offers easy access to Calheta Beach, restaurants, cafés and local services. The area is known for its natural beauty, levada walks, hiking trails and ocean views, making it an excellent base from which to explore the island in comfort and tranquility. GETTING AROUND The best option to get to the apartment will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address. There is a bus stop 2 minutes walk from the apartment. ACCESS TO PROPERTY You have access to all areas of the property. INTERACTION We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card). - Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. - All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property. RULES We want you to feel at home. We do not ask for more than respect for neighbours and care for the property, in addition to not smoking inside the house.
