Blu Holiday Homes is a hospitality company in the Algarve, founded and managed by American/Portuguese mom-and-son team Monica and Alex. We're seasoned hosts with 15 years of experience who love sharing the beauty and the simple pleasures of life in the Algarve. We'll be happy to suggest restaurants, local attractions, activities and services like kayaking to visit the beautiful caves when in season, or car, scooter and bike rentals.

1 double bed = 140 cm wide; 1 or 2 single beds = 80 cm. // 4 PEOPLE MAXIMUM. CHILDREN MUST BE AT LEAST 5 YEARS OLD. We charge each additional guest after 2 an extra fee, per person per night, whatever the guest's age, and the price is the same as for an adult. Guests must include and count each child in the total of people when booking. NOT SUITABLE FOR BABIES OR TODDLERS: not child-proofed, no room for a cot. // For stays 10 nights or longer, there are additional cleaning fees since professional cleaning is done every 5 to 8 days, depending on length of stay. This entails change of bed and bath linens/bathroom cleaning/vacuuming/mopping. This charge is of 30eur per cleaning and the total is to be paid in cash upon arrival. Please contact the property for more details. //Small, bijou flat with an eclectic mix of beachy, vintage and traditional Portuguese items, including prized family heirlooms. Set in traditional Algarve architecture which reflects the Arabic influence. Nearby cove beaches. AC/heating and fireplace in a condo with private pools, one for kids, on the outskirts of coastal town Armação de Pera. Lovely, quiet setting in a privileged location, a short walk to cove beaches and cliff paths with amazing views. Walk to town Armação de Pera, restaurants, supermarket. Free parking on the premises.

Casa Blu is in ALPORCHINHOS, right on the outskirts of the town Armação de Pera (pronounced AR–MA–SOUN). Lovely, quiet setting. A short walk to cove beaches and cliff paths with amazing views, and to town, restaurants, shops, supermarket. GETTING HERE - If you're driving or using a car service, I'll send you the exact coordinates and instructions on how to find Casa Blu more easily before your arrival. Free parking. FROM FARO AIRPORT - take an Uber, or book online in advance a private car service like Yellow Fish to be dropped off at the flat (for up to 4 people; low rate) - ask me for the correct coordinates to the flat to give the driver. FROM LISBON OR OTHER CITIES/TOWNS - There's no train station in Armação de Pera. Take an express or regional bus directly to Armação, then a taxi at the bus stop to the flat. Ask me for the correct coordinates and instructions on how to find Casa Blu more easily, to give the driver. July and August are the busiest time of year, and evenings can be noisy until 1 or 2 AM. Gardener can get noisy in the morning when he comes around. Otherwise, It's usually quiet at night and also during the day.
