This century-old house, with its typical Azorean design, has been carefully restored to offer an authentic, comfortable, and memorable stay on Pico Island. The project, developed by a local architect, preserved the house's original identity, combining traditional Azorean architecture with modern comfort. Completely remodeled in 2018 and updated again in 2026, the property now features air conditioning, ensuring greater comfort year-round. Outside, the garden has an orchard with various fruit trees that bear fruit throughout the year. The fruit is available for guests to pick directly from the tree and enjoy fresh during their stay—a simple, authentic, and, for many visitors, rare experience.
I am a cheerful, available person, always ready to help. I know Pico Island intimately, its customs, traditions, and special corners. I have about 15 years of experience in tourism, and I am committed to helping each guest make the most of the island. Tourism and Pico are two of my great passions, and as far as I'm concerned, your stay will be unforgettable.
The house is located in a very quiet area, ideal for relaxing, yet strategically located between the two main towns on the island: Lajes do Pico and Madalena. Just 400 meters away, you'll find a small and tranquil bathing area, perfect for enjoying the sea in peace. About 2 km away is the São João Forest Park, a magnificent space with picnic areas, a fitness circuit, hiking and biking trails, and a children's play area. For those who enjoy nature and adventure, one of the island's official routes passes very close to the house, allowing you to start discovering Pico practically at your doorstep.
