The convenient location of Casa do Alpendre makes it easy to reach not only places such as the Dona Beija Pool (the thermal baths) and Terra Nostra Natural Park, but also several restaurants and supermarkets in Furnas. The house has two spacious bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, a balcony with a view over the D. Beatriz garden and the famous porch (Alpendre in Portuguese) to gather family and friends. The fumaroles of Furnas are only 5 minutes away by car and both Lagoa das Furnas and Ribeira Quente beach are 15 minutes away. It is the ideal place for families or for a group of friends who want to emerge and explore the beautiful nature of Furnas.
The Casa do Alpendre team is formed by our super mom, my sister and me. We all share the same desire to travel, to discover new places, understand new cultures and people and we always take São Miguel with us. We already know the extreme beauty of our island and we want to share it with you. The quantity and diversity of trekking trails that can be made with family or friends and the constant proximity to the sea are the parts that most fascinate us on the island. We want to make sure that you have an unforgettable experience here in this beautiful island: São Miguel! I hope that you are as excited as we are!
