Casa do Ferreiro, (also known as the Casa E / C project), is a 4 bedroom villa, rebuilt from its ruins, through an award winning architectural project. His project was winner in 2015 of the AADIPA European Architectural Heritage Award and in 2016 won the 1st prize of the Ibero-American Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism. Currently The House is part of the Architecture Route of the Azores and is located on the island of Pico, where it is possible to ally the true rest to taste for adventure and nature. An ideal place for families, couples or groups of friends to enjoy an original holiday well away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. This project, which was born in 2005, privileges contemplation and welcomes us with sophisticated details, after a day of intense activities that can be practiced all over the island. The house, shaped to its old form, between walls of volcanic stone, has assumed a new functionality, giving priority to the comfort and the entrance of light to enjoy the stunning landscape.
