CasaFelix is very personal to me, and interior design is something I truly love. I believe it’s the small details that create a special experience — from sharp kitchen knives and beautiful plates to the glasses you drink from. The soft duvet covers, decorative pillows, cozy blankets, and carefully chosen wall colors are all selected to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Music can be enjoyed throughout the houses as well as outside, adding an extra touch to your stay. In the bathrooms, you’ll find lovely products from Rituals to make everyday moments feel a little more luxurious. To keep Casafelix on top, we do Professional cleaning of all three houses, preparation of three bathrooms, bed linen, bath towels, and pool towels for up to nine guests, as well as final preparation of the outdoor kitchen and terraces. If anything is accidentally damaged during your stay, please let me know immediately. I understand that accidents happen, and I always appreciate honesty so that I can resolve the issue quickly. This is my private home and a place very close to my heart, and when I’m not living here myself, I love sharing this little oasis with guests from around the world. At CasaFelix, I believe it’s the small details that create a special stay — the atmosphere, the comfort, the music, the peaceful surroundings, and the feeling of simply being able to relax and enjoy life a little more. Well-behaved dogs are also welcome upon request. Normally, two Labradors live here as well — Diesel & Dexter — and they are very much part of the CasaFelix spirit. Please feel free to enjoy the fruits growing in the garden depending on the season: lemons, limes, figs, and pomegranates. You are welcome to use what is available in the house during your stay. If something runs out or accidentally breaks, simply replace it with something similar, and feel free to let us know. CasaFelix is located in the peaceful village of Vale Judeu, a charming and authentic Portuguese area away from the busy tourist crowds, yet still close to beaches, golf courses, and the lively atmosphere of Vilamoura. In the village, you’ll find one of my favorite local restaurants, Retiro do Camponês, loved by many Portuguese locals and especially known for its delicious grilled black pork. You’ll find it just past the school, about 150 meters further down on the right-hand side. During summer, I definitely recommend booking a table in advance. If you feel like visiting Vilamoura, one of my personal favorites is Akvavit, located by the marina — perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner with a beautiful setting. For nature lovers, I highly recommend taking a trip to the sandbanks near Faro Airport, where you may be lucky enough to spot flamingos and enjoy the peaceful Algarve landscape. There are also many beautiful beaches nearby, local markets, golf courses, and small Portuguese towns waiting to be explored. The Algarve offers a wonderful mix of relaxation, nature, food, and authentic charm.
