The property is a great fit to executives for rewinding, family for vacation and sophiscated group for reunion. It avoids people for event & party on the premises. HOUSE RULES at Casa Madeira * INSURANCE, all Medical or Travel Insurances are your responsibilities. * Absolutely no parties, events or fireworks at the property. * Only guests listed on the reservation will be allowed to stay. Please note that any undisclosed guests may lead to reservation cancelled immediately and all prepaid booking charges, rental charges, fees etc. forfeited, with no exceptions. If you are planning to bring more guests, it is subject to our approval and it must be prior check in. In the event someone is visiting during your stay, please let us know in advance. * No smoking/vaping inside the house. You can smoke outside in open areas. Please do not throw cigarette butts in the garden. *KEYS: a lost key and fob will result in a replacement fee 120. The property is in a quiet residential area, centrally located, with supermarket Intermarche 300 meters away. A couple of local restaurants and cafes are opposite the street or in a short walking distance. It takes about 20 minutes by walk to the old town, where all the monuments and historical sites, such as the Governor's Castle, Statue of Infante Dom Henrique, etc. sit. At the old town you could find restaurants with typical Algarve style and popular bar lanes. You can walk back to the villa after a good evening entertaining at old town or by a short taxi ride. Lagos Marina is next to the old town, where pubs and restaurants are by waterfront with pleasant view of boats of all sorts. Port of Lagos is with significance in Portugal history, when during 15th century Henry the Navigator sponsored the extensive voyages with some of the worlds most renowned explorers and the explorations started here, from the Port of Lagos. The villa is close to some of the Europeans' most splendid cliffs and beaches. You can reach Ponta da Piedade, Meia Praia, Praia do Camilo, Praia Dona Ana, etc. in a few minutes' drive. You may walk to Port de Mos by a short cut at the valley in 18-20 minutes. Boavista Golf Resort is 1.6 km away and Espiche Golf course is 5 km away. The villa is easy access to N125 and A22.
