At about 8Km from Ponta Delgada, this house was built on top of a hill in Rabo de Peixe. Casa Santa is a rustic and typical house set in a farm, with gardens, orchard, barbecue, fireplace, wood oven, various leisure spaces and sea views. Situated near the beaches on the north side of the island, it's the ideal setting for a relaxing holiday surrounded by nature. This 19th century house was originally a Catholic Chapel, remodeled in the last decade, while maintaining its regional character that distinguishes it.

Rabo de Peixe is a village with a vast cultural heritage and has been the cradle of personalities who have excelled in various areas of knowledge and who have made a great contribution to Azorean society. In addition to cultivation and pastoralism being important resources, Rabo de Peixe has at sea its main livelihood.
