MPORTANT NOTE FOR RESERVATIONS MADE FOR THE YEAR 2026: please beware that a new house is being built in front of us. There may be some noise from the building site and we cannot predict when or how bad it will be. Some days it is totally quiet. Other days, and with no warning, there may be construction noise. We have adjusted our prices in 2026 accordingly and we apologise in advance for the disturbance. This is a homely, comfortable, 3 bedroom villa near the beach in Luz. With a little, private courtyard with plunge pool, sun beds and outdoor dining area. The villa is right next to Baptista supermarket, so you can walk down to get fresh bread any time you like. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing any meal and the upstairs terrace overlooks the sea and some palm trees. It is a quiet location (no noisy roads nearby) about 2 or 3 minutes walk to the beach.

Neighborhood info

Praia da Luz is a quiet village with one of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve. Despite being a village, it has everything you need for your vacation: two small supermarkets, a stationery store, a bank, two pharmacies, a car rental service, a bike rental service, a surf shop, souvenir shops, a beautiful church, and much more! There are also many excellent restaurants and cafes. There's something for everyone here! On the beach, you'll find some water sports. When the waves are good, surfers and bodyboarders are likely to come. When the sea is calm, you can take a boat trip to see the caves along the coast or spot dolphins! Or even rent a kayak or take an inflatable boat ride! At Praia da Luz, you can enjoy the beach year-round! Even in winter, there are always sunny days where you can relax on the beach or take a stroll along the cliffs. There are great opportunities for hikers. There's a fairly easy walking path that follows the coast to Burgau, which is very picturesque. There's also a slightly more challenging hike along the cliffs to Lagos. Praia da Luz is just a 5-minute drive from the beautiful city of Lagos.
