Casinha de Nesquim is a small house dating back to 1883, restored to offer an authentic, comfortable, and peaceful stay on Pico Island. Surrounded by Azorean nature and close to the sea, it is ideal for those seeking rest, fresh air, beautiful landscapes, and a genuine connection with the island's environment. The house was completely remodeled in 2019 and renovated again in 2026, with the installation of air conditioning for year-round comfort. It has high-speed broadband internet at 500 Mbps and a Smart TV with approximately 200 channels. Outside, you will find different areas to relax, unwind, and enjoy the tranquility around you, with nature and the sea very present during your stay.
I am a cheerful, available person, always ready to help. I know Pico Island intimately, its customs, traditions, and special corners. I have about 15 years of experience in the tourism sector, and I am committed to helping each guest make the most of the island. Tourism and Pico are two of my great passions, and as far as I'm concerned, your stay will be unforgettable.
The house is located on a street with no traffic, offering a calm, peaceful stay. Just 120 meters away, there is a leisure area where you can have a picnic or simply enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the parish. About 750 meters away is the Poça das Mujas bathing area, one of the best on Pico Island. Next to the beach area is the Bar da Poça, usually open during the summer season and operating seasonally. The location is ideal for those seeking rest, sea, and authenticity, away from the busiest areas, but with good access to explore Pico Island.
