VALE DOS MILHAFRES (Terceira Island, Azores), located in the most appreciated residential area of Sao Carlos, offers a unique combination of the quiet countryside with the town side. Looking West from our backyards, you’re in the country, right at the edge of a green valley, with a wide view of the coastline, the sea, and other islands (Sao Jorge and Pico), framed in fascinating sunsets. Walk around the house, you’re in the five-century old town of Angra Do Heroismo, that’s the only town in the Azores Islands classified as World Heritage for its History, Architecture, Art, and Culture. The size of the plateau where we built VALE DOS MILHAFRES allows for total privacy between our two chalets, “Black Kite” and “Lumberjacks”. Safe and free car parking is always available within our property. Guests are provided with remote controls for the outer gate which gives them full access to their places around-the-clock. Guests can park their cars just a few steps from their chalets. Both our chalets were designed and conceived by renown architects and are fully equipped, even for permanent living, as you can see in the pictures. While “Lumberjacks” is an open space for 2, “Black Kite” holds 4, in two separate spaces allowing for privacy between both areas. Both chalets have private bathrooms. Last but not the least, a large supermarket “Continente-Modelo”, recently opened just 500 meters from our place, flat walking distance, one minute drive, where you can buy anything you might want. On top of it all, our resident Manager is always available to assist our guests with useful information and advice on anything they might need.
