Hello! We are Franck Montialoux and Miguel, the passionate hosts of the Emerald House Azores. Travelers and art lovers, we renovated this 18th century quinta in Rabo de Peixe to make it an artistic cocoon around ceramics from the 1950s – a project for two, with a lot of heart. Located in Rabo de Peixe (between Ponta Delgada and Ribeira Grande), the Emerald House allows you to easily explore the entire island without long trips. Guests love this convenience: quick access to beaches, hikes, volcanoes and authentic villages, while returning in the evening into our quiet and discreet haven. The district of Rabo de Peixe: an authentic traditional fishing village, far from mass tourism. Here you will find the bustling fishing port, the São Pedro church, a warm local atmosphere and simple but excellent restaurants for ultra-fresh fish. Attractions and places of interest nearby (less than 15-30 min by car): • Santa Bárbara beach (about 10 min): surf, black volcanic sand, spectacular ocean view. • Port of Rabo de Peixe: walks by the water, observation of fishing boats. • Associação Agricola: steaks reputed among the best on the island.
