The location of Montinho is superb, with beautiful green surroundings in Vale del Rei, central Algarve, within 5-10 minute drive to beaches and small villages. At Montinho relaxation and tranquility are key. Therefore our concept is adults only with a maximum capacity of 2 adults. The Garden Studio is located at the lower part of our terrain. You are self catering in your studio. The studio is equipped with a fully operational kitchen. POOL Our large pool is located in the garden. Sun beds and different seating areas are present. Free parking is available onsite next to your studio.
Montinho is run by a small team under supervision of Saskia and René, Dutch natives. The Portugal adventure started in 2017 and Montinho has been successfully run ever since. There is a wealth of hospitality experience coming from working with KLM, property management and love for travel. We have 2 dogs who will not bother you. If you are unsure with dogs just let us know and we will keep them near the main house.
Montinho is located only 900 meters from the famous Benagil Cave and Praia da Marinha. Within 10 to 15 car-minutes you are at the villages of Carvoeiro, Ferragudo, Portimao and Porches. Faro airport is a 45 minutes drive and Lisbon can be reached with 2,5 hours by car or train. We advise our guests to rent a car when visiting the Algarve.
