My Ribeira Guesthouse has 9 accommodation units, each one with a kitchenette. The decorative details take us on a trip to our most genuine crafts whether by the use of Burel blankets, a handmade portuguese wool tissue from Serra da Estrela, the pillows with stitches inspired in the old portuguese fish baskets or the tables and hand-carved timber from Serra d’Arga. Each object brings with it the colors and landscapes from where it came from and the story of those who made them. And it’s within this set of memories that we wish our guests to be welcomed. As if they were in their own homes.
