Franco-Belgian couple living on Pico for more than 15 years, we will be happy to share with you our passion for the island and the rest of the archipelago. We will be at your disposal to answer all your questions and give you our recommendations to make the most of your stay. You should also not hesitate to visit the potters who live at the entrance of the property and who are Jeremy's parents. They have been living on Pico for over 22 years and will have many stories to tell you.

Nestled in a natural setting, O Zimbreiro combines peace and quiet. With a flowery garden and a breathtaking view on the neighbouring islands and the canal, it is the ideal place to come and recharge your batteries. There are 5 rooms in 3 separates buildings on this 3 hectare property, 3 spacious superior rooms with sea view and 2 standard rooms, spread throughout the property. A fresh water swimming pool is at your disposal as well as a large terrace to relax and enjoy the garden. Breakfast is served every day. It is made from fresh and homemade products such as bread, jams, yoghurts, cheese, cakes .... and local products. Every other evening, the guests table is offered. Refined French-Belgian cuisine based on fresh products from the vegetable garden and the archipelago. The owners are there to help you have a pleasant stay and meet your expectations. Everything is in place to make you feel at home.

Neighborhood info

Our guest rooms are located about 2km below the village. We are located on the way of the Ponta da Ilha trail (about 10km long) and there are many walks from the property. At the entrance to Zimbreiro, you can visit the pottery workshop and its shop "O Oleiro" open every days. Less than a kilometer away is Isabelle's workshop where she produces azulejos. Her workshop is called Azulejos da Ponta da Ilha.
