Portas da Cidade Home is located at the entrance to the old town (Almedina) This house is decorated with Islamic and Medieval Christian motifs, taking you back in time. A few steps from the Archeology Museum, Cathedral and Castle
Gustavo & Miguel, we are two young lovers of local accommodation, offering every day surprises to the guests we receive in our accommodations. We make local accommodation our work by giving tourists the city of Lisbon and the Algarve (Silves) and (Armação de Pêra). Our priority is the satisfaction and comfort of the guest.
Portas da Cidade Home is located in the center of Silves, next to the Tower of the old entrance to Almedina, facing Praça do Municipio. In Praça do Municipo there is a Tourist Office and a very old café with regional sweets. On the street above the accommodation is the Archeology Museum, going up a little further you will find the Cathedral and the Castle, however in some parallel streets you will find some viewpoints where you can have a panoramic view of the city and the Arade river. Next to the Arade River there is a Public Market and several squares where you can relax and have a good view of the entire city.
