Quinta da Pavoa – Cottage House – is a sustainable house build in the countryside. Made of wood from the island, cryptomeria, this house is integrated in a steading with 3000m2 with a garden, fruit trees and a vegetable garden. The song of the birds is always present. The house fulfils all your requirements: 2 bedrooms that can take up to 4 people and a large living room with kitchen that include all equipment necessary. Wi-Fi is free, and the TV include a big range of channel’s. The balcony with barbecue is a privileged space with an amazing sight to both the mountain, the sea and the small local village. In the balcony, our guests can enjoy the sunrise and the Islet “Ilhéu” of Vila Franca do Campo, right in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Our guests can enjoy the products of the biological fruits and vegetables from the garden, according to the season, and play with our friendly resident cats. Located in south coast, in the middle of São Miguel island, Quinta da Pavoa – Cottage House – allows quick access to the whole island (you can reach anywhere in 30 minutes, by car), including the best beaches (some at 5 minutes, by car), Ponta Delgada city (25 Km) or Furnas (20 Km).

It is always a pleasure for me to welcome the world to our home! Quinta da Pavoa, on the hill overlooking the sea, offers its guests a completely clean and safe nature space. The privacy of the 2000 m space allows families with children to rest at the same time that their children have fun in the garden playing with cats, playing soccer, watching birds and butterflies ... or simply rolling on the grass :) The house has a large and furnished terrace, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a spacious living room and a great toilet. Located in the middle of the island, the house is 20 or 30 minutes from most points of interest: lagoons, thermal water, city ... and 5 minutes from the best beaches on the island of São Miguel.
