I am a teacher, now retired, and currently dedicate myself to organic farming. My family and I live in Lagos, and we decided to welcome guests who want to enjoy their vacation in the countryside, in a family atmosphere, very close to the beaches of the Western Algarve. My daughter Catarina lives permanently on the farm, and she will be the one who will welcome you and give you all the information.

Property info

Quinta do Maranhão is a 7 ha family farm, with houses, leisure areas, vegetable garden and orchard. Over four generations dedicated to agriculture, it has been renewing itself. In 2019, a new cycle began. The housing area has been totally refurbished to welcome guests looking to enjoy comfortable vacation, spent in nature, with the advantage of being very close to the magnificent beaches of the Western Algarve. The property is located 1 km from Bensafrim, and 8 km from Lagos and the beaches of the Western Algarve, with quick road access to the entire Vicentine coast. With two main buildings, the farm disposes of six houses of different sizes and several common spaces. The residential area consists of three 1-bedroom apartments, two 2-bedroom apartments, all with living room, kitchen, bathroom and outdoor patio. The sixth accommodation is smaller, it is a suite with bedroom and ensuite bathroom, suitable for people with reduced mobility, equipped with a fridge, microwave and small appliances. The 6 accommodations are independent, all with individual entrances. Shared Facilities: - Salt water pool. - 2 BBQ. - 2 Parking Areas (1 of them covered). - Living and leisure areas. - Room for events and occasional entertainment activities (price upon request).
