Located in São Mateus, near Angra do Heroísmo, Quinta do Martelo was an old farm of orange production, in the 18th century. The current Quinta do Martelo portraits the evolution of civilizational culture of the Azores. Architecture, construction techniques, genuine furniture, decoration, indigenous species of flora and fauna will bring you pack to the Azorean traditional roots. Along with all of this ethnographic treasure, the houses are fully equipped with every modern comfort conditions. Pool and other leisure facilities are available, properly integrated. The peaceful surroundings include farm animals, cultivated fields and relaxing gardens, ideal for a holiday in touch with nature.
On site you'll also find our "Venda do Ti Manel da Quinta", the restaurant, which serves traditional dishes cooked from the best biological products that grow in Quinta do Martelo.
