Kristin and Tobias have in 2019 decided to begin in a new life in sunny Portugal and were glad to find "Quinta da Luz" that functioned as a Bed and Breakfast for almost 15 years already. We had the opportunity to take over the hotel and live our dream. We love the pleasant climate of the Algarve, the beaches, the many golfcourses and the great nature around. Tobias likes playing golf or working in the huge garden whereas Kristin loves going to the beach, jogging and making homemade breads and jams.

Quinta da Luz - A luxury B&B offers modern and luxurious rooms inmidst of thousands of oranges and offers its guests perfect and carefree holidays in this rural but stylish Quinta in the countryside. Enjoy a delicious breakfast with many local and homemade products. What about spending a relaxing day at the pool or strolling through the gardens? If you prefer to be more active, we are happy to book a car, bikes, boat tour or other excursions for you as well as we do of course book restaurants for you. We do also have our own driving range with flight reduced balls that our guests can use before playing on one of the many golf courses in the area. Quinta da Luz is an Adults Only Hotel for all from 16 years and above. We aim to be sustainable - most of our energy is generated with our own photovoltaic system, we buy local products whenever possible, try to reduce plastic waste and separate our waste.

Neighborhood info

This is a rural, orange growing area where life is slow and there is plenty of time to chat, enjoy nature and just chill out. Many of our guests know very little about rural Algarve and we love helping you to discover the hidden gems of this beautiful area. Silves is an interesting historical town with a beautiful castle, interesting architecture and a great selection of places to eat. From here, you can easily access (by car) many wonderful beaches.
