The Ria Guest House Alvor was created with the intention of providing an excellent vacation to the people who pass by. It has 4 spectacular rooms, from doubles to triples, all equipped with air conditioning. There are several shared bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. There is also an indoor living space and a huge terrace where you can enjoy the wonderful view of the Alvor river. We are located in the center of Alvor next to the bars and restaurants, about 10 minutes walk from the beach and 5 minutes from the Ria. Wi-fi and air conditioning. Located in the heart of Vila de Alvor, close to supermarkets, restaurants, bars and traditional shops.

Neighborhood info

Alvor is a village with a maritime and fishing tradition. Nowadays, in parallel with artesanal fishing, restaurants, commerce and tourism are the main economic activities. Its expansive beach has enough space to accommodate the thousands of sunbathers who come looking for it in summer. Behind the beach is the Ria de Alvor, an important wetland where many species of birds are nestled or protected and fed. In addition to being the habitat of several species, the Ria de Alvor is highly sought after for Kite-surfing (being one of the most well-known spots in Portugal) and Stand-up Paddle. Alvor also has an aerodrome, where the largest Skydiving company in Europe is located, which offers incredible views of the Algarve’s coastline to those who dare to jump. There are numerous activities that can be done in this small village!
