Fantastic apartment with 1 bedroom, dining/living room, 1 WC, a full equipped kitchen and a balcony located in Vila da Praia, 5 minutes walking to the excellent Alvor Beach. The living room has a sofa bed and in a separate area, two single beds in a drawer. The bedroom has a double bed. The balcony has a dining table where you can take your meals. VPraia is a private and secure condominium, with two swimming pools and a pleasant garden to relax and have sun. 5-minute walking to Alvor Village where you may enjoy the grill fish, bars and pubs. At walking distance: supermarket, grocery, laundry, pharmacy, Sunday market, etc. no need for a car! The apartment is ready to receive up to 4/5 guests providing an unforgettable stay. Excellent internet access for a working distance place. By request, a travel cot and a high chair are available. Smoke is allowed on the balcony. The apartment is on the 1st floor, the building has an elevator with access to the underground parking. The apartment is accessible by wheelchair but the batbroom is not adapted for people with reduced mobility. The private hospital, working 24h * 365 days, is 5 minutes away by taxi/car.

Neighborhood info

To walk: there are an elevated walkway (7 Km) that cross the sand dunes of the Ria de Alvor nature reserve as well as natural trails to explore. Both provide pleasant walks with scenic views over the estuary, which is a haven for bird life. To eat: there is a wide selection of restaurants in Alvor, which cover all styles of cuisine: Portuguese, English, Indian, Chinese, Italian and Spanish. Eating out is cheaper than back at your home and the evening meal is an important part of the Portuguese day, therefore meals tend not to be rushed. Tipping is not compulsory but it is often expected and a way to thank the staff. To visit: From Alvor it is very easy to visit the towns of Portimão and Praia da Rocha, as these two destinations are connected by the inexpensive local bus network. Portimão is a large residential city that has excellent shopping, a historic center and a pleasant harbour. Praia da Rocha is a busy and hectic resort town located on a beautiful coastline. It is the place to head to for a big party night out, as the town is crammed full with themed bars and late night venue.
