The Surf Nest is a fully equipped T1, just 2 minutes away from the beach. It has everything you'll need: cookware, kitchen appliances, air con, hair dryer, workstation, linens, towels, you name it. Its location is perfect, right in the historical center, yet in a very quiet road. The waterfront, bars, restaurants and shop are all within 2min walking distance.
I am a French expat living and surfing in Madeira for the past 4 years. If you have any questions about your upcoming trip, let me know, i'd be happy to help. I live nearby so don't hesitate to reach out. We also have a fantastic community of expats living in Machico and locals are simply amazing - i'd love to introduce you to them!
Everything is walking distance from the apartment: 2min walk to the beach and harbour, 2 min walk from all the main restaurants, bars and the post office, 4min walk to the Pingo Doce supermarket, 6min to Continente supermarket and 15min walk to the health center/emergencies. It is in the historical center of Machico, with beautiful buildings like the church and the City Hall - yet it is very quiet and pleasant.
