The vivenda is a complete furnished holiday home that makes it possible for you, to bring only your personal things, and where you will relax thanks to all the comfort and the privacy.
On this breathtaking beautiful, unforgettable spot you enjoy in the winter a comfortable living room with hearth. In the summer the joy of the wonderful see and mountain view from the balcony.
In the spring your certainly will enjoy both: The sunny terrace and the crackling fire during the romantic evenings. This atmosphere will certainly be even more romantic thanks to the whistling of the many birds, the nearest waterfall and the always present Atlantic ocean.
Having a capacity for at least 4 persons the vivenda offers you and your family or your friends enough room to enjoy a unforgettable holiday.

I like to write lyrics for songs to be sung and offered to those who may enjoy them. I like to sleep because mostly is always good to dream. I love the Azores because they offer a divine beauty, this spot of the world embrace me with their nature, and surprise me with his different way of standing. I like good wine, because I am son of Earth, like football even still do not knowing why. The sun because it makes me warm, I love a good joke to wake up or drive away the melancholy or the routine. The well being of my guests concerns me, I feel good sharing with others our little corner planted by the sea.
Porto Formoso, named by the island´s discoverers, is located on São Miguel´s north coast.
Just a few steps from Vivenda Xavier is the beautiful bay of Praia dos Moinhos, surrounded by cliffs crossed by a stream that used to move the mill´s waterwheels' propel reflected in the beach name.
Not far from the beach is a mineral water source, rich in potassium, sprouting at a temperature of around 30ºC. The thermal baths of Ladeira da Velha, were onc frequented by patients who sought these waters and stayed in a small rest house. Ladeira da Velha also memorizes the battle between Liberals and Absolutists from 1829 to 1834.
Tea production
Unique in Europe! Due to biological diseases are two of the many plantations and tea factories remaining: Porto Formoso and Chá Goreana tea factories.
