Fairytale Mountain House is a hidden retreat in the heart of the Triglav National Park, perfect for one couple, two couples, or up to four friends. Surrounded by wild, untouched nature, it offers breathtaking views of Triglav, Pihavec, Ozebnik, and the Julian Alps. There is no internet and no television – by design. Evenings here are meant for connection and relaxation: playing board games such as cards, Človek ne jezi se, and puzzles, sharing conversations, or simply enjoying the spectacular mountain views, far more captivating than any screen. The house is furnished with natural materials and old wooden furniture, preserving its authentic mountain character. Ceiling height is approximately 2 meters. Inside you’ll also find a traditional “beznica”, an ancient natural cellar used for cooling food and drinks. The owner, a storyteller, draws inspiration here, which adds a subtle fairy-tale atmosphere to the space. In front of the house is a small garden of stone hearts, a garden area by the entrance, a riverside spot, and a barbecue meadow nearby. Parking is available for two cars. The owner is a storyteller, narrator and collector of old stories, who always receives fairy tale inspirations in this valley, in front of the house, on walks in the surrounding area and, properly equipped, also on mountain trails. In the house you will find magical energy, natural materials, old furniture and also "beznica", an ancient natural refrigerator - a cellar dug into the ground for cooling food and drinks.

The valley is closed to public traffic, ensuring complete peace and privacy, yet guests can reach the house by car with the owner’s key. The location is an excellent base for mountain tours (Triglav, Prehodavci, Kriški podi, Ozebnik), scenic walks through Zadnjica and Trenta valleys, along the Soča Trail, to the source of the Soča River, or towards Bovec. Nearby are also Alpinum Julijana Botanical Garden, Zapotoški waterfalls, and the Mlinarica canyon. This is above all a place to slow down and disconnect from modern life. Surrounded by forests, rivers, and alpine silence, guests often say they sleep better, breathe deeper, and leave truly rested. A pleasant 15-minute walk leads to the village of Trenta, where you’ll find the Triglav National Park Center, a small shop, and a restaurant offering breakfast.
