Our cosy homestay in Nová Lesná offers a warm, family-friendly atmosphere at the foot of the High Tatras. We have an apartment with a private kitchen and several comfortable rooms with access to a shared, fully equipped kitchen in the basement. All accommodation includes a private bathroom, mountain views, and access to indoor and outdoor spaces. Guests can enjoy a peaceful garden with a small stream, a children’s playground, and an indoor playroom – perfect for families. Free parking is available right at the house, and coffee and tea are complimentary. A delicious breakfast made with local products can be ordered for additional fee. Located in a quiet street with beautiful views, our homestay is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the Tatra Electric Railway (20 minutes), which connects you to Starý Smokovec, Tatranská Lomnica, Štrbské Pleso, and Poprad.
We are a Czech-Slovak couple who settled in the High Tatras with our children and love sharing this beautiful region with guests from all over the world. We speak English, Slovak, Czech, and French, and are happy to suggest hiking trails, activities, and places to eat. We can help plan trips, arrange guided tours, or organise pick-up from Poprad airport or train station (extra charge). We respect your privacy but are always available if you need anything. Our goal is to make you feel at home and help you enjoy the best of the High Tatras.
Nová Lesná is a charming village at the foot of the High Tatras, famous for its panoramic views. It’s an ideal starting point for hiking, skiing, and sightseeing. The Tatra Electric Railway station (20 minutes on foot from our house) connects you easily to popular destinations like Starý Smokovec, Tatranská Lomnica, Štrbské Pleso, and Poprad. The village offers a grocery store, restaurants, and quiet surroundings – perfect for relaxing after a day in the mountains. In winter, ski resorts are just a short drive away, while in summer you can enjoy scenic walks, mountain trails, and local cultural events.
