The most visited by tourist are the nearby High Tatras. There are a lot of paths for the whole day trips but you can also choose paths accessible for small children or disabled people, too. The area offers other places to visit such as caves, castles, swimming pools, museums, open air museums, the Zoos, a lot of other sport attractions or playareas for children. The newest attraction is the Tricklandia in Starý Smokovec which is an art illusion interesting not only for kids but also adults or a treetopwalk in Bachledka. Stará Lesná is a quiet and small village with one grocery shop but few restaurants. More shops and services you can find in the nearby village which is only 4km far from Stará Lesná or in Tatranská Lomnica. In the hotels in Stará Lesná you can find wellness and sport facilities. In our Privat Klein there is an infrasauna, barbecue place in a nice garden. For children there is a sand pit a swing and a big trampoline. Young children will also appreciate our small family farm with a dog, scheep, rabbits, hens, ducks and turkeys.
