Gerard is from the Netherlands, he is Dutch, Nui is Thai. We are both teachers. Before working as a teacher in local schools, Nui has worked in bigger resorts at the front desk. She speaks English very well, she is also an official tourguide and teaches English, Thai social studies and cooking in school. (and also at home) Gerard is now a retired teacher. Worked for 25 years in schhols in the Netherlands. From 2002 till 2005 he worked at the Primary Education Office Phangnga. Between 2005 and 2009 he run the Dutch school in Kathmandu, Nepal. Since 2009 we live at our Manora garden. We have met in 2003 for the first time and are still together, being a married couple since 2009 Our hobbies are: Travelling & photografie, teaching, gardening, running our B&B, reading, enjoying Phangnga .....

Manora Garden B&B is our home. We live on our property and we have some elegant bungalows in a rubber tree garden for rent. The B&B is located just outside the road to the waterfall with the same name. It is just a 2 km walk or cycle tour. The garden is decorated with not only the tall rubber trees, but also some other plants. The rooms are basic: close to nature, enough windows, fresh air. All rooms have airconditioing. We only use four rooms. That gives us the change to run it like a family/friends acoomodation. We like it when people feel at home and can enjoy their stay. We like to share our knowledge about Phangnga and to help our guest to have a wonderful holiday. For us it easy to help you for a three or four day holiday with a lot of activities in 'local Thailand'. The garden is 4 kms out of Phangnga town. to go to town we have motorbikes and bicycles. We have enough ideas for you to spend three or four days, without getting bored! Having your own transport could be a pre, but often we can manage with our own cars. If that is not the case, we can ask for a taxi to come in.

We are 4 kms out of town, in a very natural environment. There are lot of plantations and at the end of the road is a very nice waterfall. Nearby is a small local shop. It is quiet because the neighbours are at least 100 meters away. We have motorbikes and bicycles for rent so that you can explore the direct neighbourhood.....
