Small, intimate B&B in the very heart of Chiang Mai.
Great value & Friendly service.
Convenient, Comfortable, Private, Clean, and Hygienic.
You will find our rooms to be clean, comfortable & cosy. We take pride in our appearance & reputation. Paapu has a large social room downstairs where travelers can enjoy fantastic coffee, breakfast & exchange stories.
Each Thursday Night we host a live music concert in the House with very different music styles
For many years i worked in hospitality business in different hotels. In 2018 i decided to start a guesthouse of my own in the city of Chiang Mai. Being able to add my personal feelings and taste to the house and welcoming my guests in a personal way was my goal. I hope i can give you this welcome-feeling, or to put it in a clichee-way, offer you 'a home away from home'.
I love to host! That's why I have my guest house. If you want your own space etc, no problem I am happy to leave you to your vacation. For those guests who like to talk with locals about eating out, shopping, sightseeing etc. I love all these things & am happy to join you with some of your exploring or simply assist you with your holiday plans.
Paapu House is located on the Ancient moat directly opposite the Old City, set a short distance from attractions such as Tha Pae Gate and Wat Chiang Man. The hostel is within 700 meters of Three Kings Monument. Guests here can easily explore Chiang Mai on foot. If walking is not for you, we have bicycles for our guests and there are tuk tuks and passenger trucks (saewng thaew) everywhere. Wararot (Chinatown) is a 15 minute walk away or 30 THB by local transport. From here you can easily explore the riverfront as well.
