At Mikoko an early long walk or jogging along the beach is what you wilI enjoy most. We love sports, sharing experiences, socializing in dancing and live music bands around Bagamoyo. We also like to take guests outside of Bagamoyo to local markets to buy souverniers, eat delicious roast meat (nyama choma), drink and just relax with the Masai and Mang'ati herdsmen. Strong and real tobbacco is found in these markets.

Property info

This is a 5-acres property with international wibes, plus a combination of both cultural and modern aspects. All you need to know: Mikoko has a great view of the mikoko trees, ocean and beach (300m) away. We are in a historical village Kaole which gave birth to the present Bagamoyo town. The united Kaole village provide security and opportunity to mingle with its friendly people. Our facilities include a simple open kitchen, a bar, free WiFi, a flower and a fruit trees gardens, 6 rooms at the top with breathtaking view of both the Indian Ocean and Zanzibar across at night! Cool breeze and a spectacular full moon! I recommend the place for people who love nature, who want to rest, write or just enjoy a shade. Karibu sana.
