Carl and Eileen are originally from North West England. They moved to California with their two children in 2005 and then to the East Coast in 2011. After eight years of living in Syracuse, they chose to move to Kennebunkport for the breathtaking views and friendly folk along with the history and spectacular coastlines that reminded them of home. You will find the couple’s English influences throughout the inn. The house is of original Colonial design and as the name implies, was built in 1802. Extensions were added over the years, and in the 1990s it was converted into the charming bed and breakfast you see today. 1802 House Bed and Breakfast Inn is now considered one of the town’s finest historic inns

The 1802 House Bed and Breakfast is located in a peaceful area away from the hustle and bustle of Kennebunkport. Guests enjoy the quiet and solitude of the one acre of gardens while still only being a short walk to the center of Dock Square with it's shops and restaurants. The Inn sits alongside the 15th hole of the historic Cape Arundel Golf Course.
