We're folks just like you who enjoy spending time on the island! We started Aunt Jane's because we knew what we were wanted for our own vacation plans. It was my neice who suggested the name. When we were trying to decide what to call the place, she said, "Why don't you call it Aunt Jane's, Aunt Jane!" and the name stuck.

Property info

Aunt Jane's Put-in-Bay Lodging is in the heart of Downtown Put in Bay, so you can walk to all the pools, restaurants, shops, bars, clubs, and most major attractions - and back! No cab rides back and forth across the island. Unlike most hotels, you can bring your own food and drinks, and we welcome large groups, bachelor and bachelorette parties, family reunions, and special events. Enjoy the swimming pool and hot tub just across the street, or just watching people come and go from the front porch. Grill up some vittles on the gas BBQ in the private back yard, or cook up a treat in the fully equipped kitchen.

Neighborhood info

Put-in-Bay is the Key West of the Great Lakes and Lake Erie in particular. Sometimes described as a quaint little drinking village with a fishing problem, it is actually a peaceful quiet place to spend some restful time during the weekdays and in the slower season. Weekends in season are another story, with crowds swelling the main strip and a festive atmosphere rivaling Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Or perfect location allows you to experience all of the fun and activities of the island.
