We’re glad you’re here. To the beach: When you walk out the door to the patio, look straight ahead and you will see a BEACH sign with an arrow pointing to the left. Follow the arrow to the left, once you hit the fence line take another left and follow the fence all the way down to the road. Please remember to close the gate after you come in or out as our excitable Bordoodle puppy named Lola might try to escape. Once on the road, take a right on Crozier Drive and it’s a 3-4 minute walk to the public beach access. The access will be on your left and is marked by yellow poles and a sign. Calm waters, good for snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing, collecting shells etc and provides access to a few great surf spots. If you plan on surfing and are a beginner, we recommend taking a lesson first and then surfing at one of the beginner spots in Haleiwa (Chun’s or Alii). The laundry area attached to the guesthouse has beach gear for you to use. *The guesthouse to your right is another occasional short-term rental/family guesthouse. I’m Alana, a lifelong Hawaiʻi resident and proud Kamehameha Schools graduate. I grew up here on Oʻahu and have deep roots in the local community and Hawaiian culture. When I’m not hosting, I love spending time with my kids, surfing, and being outdoors. I’m also a world traveler, and I bring what I’ve learned from my travels into hosting—creating a space that feels comfortable, thoughtful, and easy for guests. I love sharing local recommendations and helping visitors experience the North Shore in a way that feels genuine, respectful, and unforgettable.

Location highlights: • 10-minute drive to Haleʻiwa for dining and shopping • 35 minutes to Honolulu International Airport • 45 minutes to Waikīkī You are on vacation—there are no checkout chores to do here. This is a quiet residential neighborhood with no nearby hotels. Families live on either side of the property, and you may hear children playing in the afternoons or on weekends. The guesthouse is a stand-alone unit with private access and is not close to the owner’s home, though we do live on the property if assistance is ever needed. There is one additional rental on the property, rented long-term or short-term depending on the season. Guests are asked to respect privacy by staying within the vicinity of their cottage and surrounding yard. The property is large, with plenty of space for everyone. The guesthouse is located on a large, lush agricultural lot and offers a peaceful, authentic North Shore experience.
