Chase ‘N Rainbows by Castle Resorts is the vacation rental division of Castle Resorts & Hotels. Established in 1979 in West Maui, we have evolved to include vacation rentals across the Hawaiian Islands of Maui, Kaua‘i, O‘ahu and Hawai‘i Island. Three bedrooms offer direct lanai access, while the fourth doubles as an entertainment room with a daybed, flat screen, workstation & sofa. The Ka'u District is home to some of Hawaii Island's most popular attractions, including Papakolea Green Sand Beach, Punaluu Black Sand Beach, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park & ancient Hawaiian heiau (temple) at Ka Lea (South Point). As 1 of only 2 green sand beaches in the U. S., Papakolea rewards hikers with its green crystals (olivines) mixed with black (lava) and white (coral/shells). Pick up java at Ka'u Coffee Mill in Pahala, malasadas at Punaluu Bake Shop, & local produce at Naalehu Farmer's Market or Ocean View Swap Meet.
