Terri & Doug Matern – The Owners Doug and Terri Matern purchased Glen Choga Lodge in 2019, restoring it into a charming B&B that reopened in 2022. Originally from Florida, they fell in love with the mountains in 1998. Doug, an engineer and former business owner, built a successful company, while Terri, with a background in law and interior design, led the lodge’s historical renovation. She managed construction, worked with preservation authorities, and ensured every detail honored the lodge’s history. They bring passion, hospitality, and a love for the outdoors, making Glen Choga Lodge a cherished retreat.
