Allen and his wife have moved from the Central Coast, California to the Pahoa area on the Big Island over seven years ago. After visiting the Big Island for over a decade, they are now living the Hawaiian dream. They enjoy every aspect of living the coastal life - from swimming to enjoying local foods and activities! Dianne grows many kinds of exotic fruits in a park-like setting. Allen will be happy to share information about the local scene.

We have newly installed air conditioning for your comfort! Hale "Hā Hā" is a one-bedroom, one-bath apartment that has separate living quarters with a private entrance and a relaxing lanai. The hosts live upstairs. We provide some local Hawaiian products, along with coffee and tea. The kitchenette is fully stocked with an induction burner, microwave oven, small refrigerator, plates, silverware, blender, toaster and pots and pans. The lanai also has a charcoal barbecue for our guests to use. We are a short walk to Waiakahi'Ula Park, our neighborhood ocean-front park. Our property has two adjacent lots where we are growing more fruit trees in addition to cultivating an exotic fruit orchard at our home! Guests have full access to our 588 sq. ft. apartment space and adjoining private lanai. There is off-street parking for our guests. They are free to roam our outdoor property to see our flowering plants and fruit trees! Our apartment has a 42" flat screen TV with hundreds of HD cable channels. There is also free wifi with reliable, high speed internet. Cell service in this area can be spotty. With wi-fi calling, you should have no problems with reception.

Hale "Hā Hā" is located 3 blocks from the ocean, and a 45-minute drive to Hawaii Volcano National Park, Kehena Black Sand Beach, snorkeling in Hilo and Pahoa nightlife. Experience the Big Island the way that the locals do. Experience the Hawaiian Kingdom, Mauna Kea and the world's largest active volcano, Mauna Loa. Be sure to visit Volcano National Park. Kilauea is not currently erupting, but one never knows when it might become active again! Restaurants are located 10 minutes from our premises.
