Mauna Nani is a very quiet, secluded home that is close to all there is to see in Volcano. A vacation house that truly feels like home. From the tranquil garden, to the pineapple patches and bananas, this is a great place to relax. Walking through the garden style yard, you will find many varieties of orchids, Antheriums and many other beautiful flowers and plants. Listen to the rain fall in the evening as you fall asleep. Inside you will find a lovely home with a well equipped kitchen, beautiful furnishings and very comfortable beds. The knotty pine ceilings will make you feel warm and the gas fireplace will keep you that way. Spend the evening watching TV or movies on the 50” flat screen or playing one of the many board games. In the morning you can have breakfast outside on the covered rear lanai and lose yourself listening to native birds and other wildlife. There are no neighbors on any side of the home and you will feel like you are the only ones in the rainforest.

Our family has been living part time on the Big Island of Hawaii for a few years now and love to share our experiences and all we love about Hawaii with our guests. We love to hike and drive through Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. It is truly amazing. During our travels, we have stayed in hotels, timeshares and vacation rentals and we have tried to bring the best of all three to our homes for your upmost comfort and feeling of home. We love to bring our family and friends wherever we go. Our family never wants to leave our home in Volcano or say good-bye to the Big Island. Fingers crossed maybe someday we will stay forever.

Mauna Nani is located in one of the quietest neighborhoods in the area. Located just minutes to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and Volcano Village where there are beautiful local art galleries, glass blowing studio, yoga classes, farmers market, coffee shops and restaurants. There are countless hiking trails and and places to cycle for the more adventurous. Surrounded by rainforest on all sides, the tranquil sounds of nature is sure to be relaxing. Easily accessible just a couple of blocks off the highway.
