The Oneida Community Mansion House is a unique place to spend the night! Its status as National Historic Landmark testifies to the importance and fascination of the story of the Oneida Community and the silverware company that grew out of it. The remarkably well preserved and stately building was constructed in stages between 1862 and 1878. This classically Victorian structure boasts 14 unique guest rooms with views of the landscaped grounds. The inn lies at the center of a 250 acre historic site and destination which includes a museum, inn, golf course, performance space, wedding and banquet facilities, trails, residential apartments, library, gift shop, cemetery and food programming. The charming overnight rooms are cozy and inviting. The welcoming and knowledgeable staff enjoy sharing the fascinating story of the most radical, and prosperous utopian commune of the 19th century and of the silverware company that succeeded it.
