Directly on the beach, this cozy cottage is thoughtfully set up for guest comfort. Kitchen has all the key equipment needed for cooking. Every room has built in USB ports for easy charging. High speed internet allows for multiple device streaming. There is even an outdoor shower to wash away the salt and sand after enjoying a swim or time on the beach. Fall asleep and wake up to the waves crashing on the shore and the sound of birds singing in the pond behind the house.
I'm a financial services lawyer originally from CT. Am a passionate cook and baker, and I owned and ran a chain of kitchenware shops in Asia for over nine years. I enjoy yacht racing, travel, hiking and yoga. Will provide guests with an information sheet listing local restaurants and some basic info. I will answer any questions you have while you're there.
Salt water pond behind the house where you can go kayaking, fishing or clamming (with a license). Sunsets are stunning over the pond. Restaurants, bakery and deli within five minute drive. Fresh seafood available everywhere and excellent restaurants near by. Buy a fishing license at Walmart to go clamming in the pond. Bring your mountain bikes and cycle around the beautiful shore. Stop by the produce stand down the road or pick up some fresh seafood for dinner. On Sundays, enjoy the market at the General Stanton Inn or just sit on your balcony and enjoy the Block Island view. Private driveway fits 3 to 4 cars easily. No public transport. Unpaved road leads from main road to driveway, so well-suited for mountain bikes.
