Welcome to Seascape! Relax and enjoy the quiet comfort that Seascape has to offer. Seascape is a 5 minute drive from the heart of a small fishing village where quaint shops, restaurants and pubs offering the local catch of the day. Seascape sets on the very edge of South Lubec Sand Bar, one of the largest Ocean Bird Sanctuaries in Maine. Seascape is all about high quality and comfort with the guests comfort in mind. Hi Folks! I am originally from Nebraska; farm raised, and have been in New England for over 30 years. My husband and I fell in love with Lubec while vacationing here in 2010, looking for the end of America. We decided to learn more about this beautiful place, and now plan to retire here. We frequent the area and hopefully can answer questions you may have about Lubec. I really enjoy hosting and sharing this little slice of heaven with you!
Seascape Cottage is apx. .1 mile down, right hand side on Bar Rd, the closest home to the water. The cottage is a very relaxing spot with no homes in front or direct side view. There is a salt water inlet right by the home, which leads to the South Lubec Sandflats bird marsh, one of the most pristine waterfowl environments anywhere. Bird watchers frequent this area. With a little patience, you may even see a Bald Eagle flying overhead, or perched on a dead tree limb right out side your cottage. There is a private meadow path to access the sand and pebble beach, only steps away from your vacation home!
