I’ve traveled to 47 counties over half a century so I have stayed in many places. Five star hotels from Las Vegas to Italy, and funky beach shacks in the Caribbean and Cambodia. The dream that is the Sweet Spot began in 1991 when I began homesteading the land. The extraordinary trees called to me and you will never forget them. The name came from the fact that my friends who visited over the years all said the same thing, “ This is a really sweet spot!” The grounds have been terraformed and landscaped with hundred of flowers, shrubs, and food bearing trees. You will stay so close to nature you can eat it as seasonal fruits from our trees are offered. Tangerines, coconuts, passion fruit, cacao, and more. Exotic flowers will greet you and the birds will wake you in the morning while frogs sing you to sleep. I built and lived in here and a collection of African and Tiki art is on display. The big sliding glass doors face the east and rainbows are common over the house. It is about a 20 minute walk to the black sand beach with the ocean in view the whole way.
