If you're wanting to get away from urban life and drive to the backwoods, we'd love to host you! Our 200 sq ft treehouse-like one room glamping cabin is attached to the back deck of our home where we live. Entrance is through our screened porch but we respect your privacy. View the prettiest creek off your private deck! Furnished to make simple meals or on the propane grill. 5" vehicle road clearance needed, not 4WD, for uneven gravel/dirt lane with potholes. NOT suitable for motorcycles. 2 miles from paved road. Venomous snakes and wild animals are indigenous to our area. No charging EV batteries. Use ONLY our directions and you'll enjoy the adventure getting here!
We're Doug and Alice, originally from IL. We missed our creek property and slower lifestyle so we made our tiny vacation house into our permanent home. Our creek is pretty special and if you're wanting to get away from your stressful life; we'd love for you to be our guest in our glamping cabin! Our boulder filled wild brook trout stream and the peace of the stream set in the woods is something special to experience. Want to stay longer? We also rent out “The Junction" (#4115777), a 400 square foot tiny house with full kitchen that sleeps 2, downstream overlooking the same creek.
Are you looking to refresh your soul? Travel 1 mi state maintained gravel and 1 mile on uneven gravel/dirt road with potholes, to get up close and personal with nature. The cabin overlooks our wild brook trout creek! Let this forest hideaway bring tranquility or adventure. We want our guests to feel the spirit of the area and the simplicity of life: enjoy the views and let the sounds of rushing water melt the stress away. We're 2 miles from pavement, ALL vehicles need 5" clearance. NOT suitable for motorcycles. WiFi available. Use only our directions to enjoy getting here!
