Having lived in the picturesque town of Trento, Italy for two years, I've always been captivated by mountainous scenery. The allure of the mountains has always called to me. When I discovered Ta Van in Sapa, I knew I had found my perfect place. The stunning mountains and terraces, easily accessible by motorbike or on foot, combined with the delightful four-season weather and the warmth of the local people, made me fall in love with this place.

Property info

The house is renovated from Hmong ethnic people. It has 2 floors, each is about 120 m2. The ground floor has 7 small rooms which include my own room and some rooms for solo guests. It also includes one set of table/chair and one set of sofa/table for guests to use. The upper floor has 4 spacious rooms of which two have balcony and two are very close to the rice terrace. The house has 4 shared bathrooms outside of the main house. Two bathrooms are toilet only and two bathrooms have shower and sink. The are two extra sinks outside of these 4 bathrooms. The house also includes a big kitchen with fridge and cooking facilities. There is also a wooden platform where guests can sit, enjoy the mountainous views and relax. There is also a small garden where I plant vegetables.

Nestled right next to stunning rice terraces and local households, immerse yourself in the true essence of village life. Listen to the chorus of frogs, crickets, and cicadas from the fields. Experience authentic sights and sounds—you may catch the occasional whiff of the neighbor's pig farm or see smoke rising from their wine-making. Watch buffalos or chicken graze nearby, adding to the picturesque scenery. Best of all, enjoy breathtaking views of the rice terrace right from your bed!
